I’m a mama of two little ones and I adore photography! Put those two together and I have a serious love and appreciation for beautiful family photos. I also know what I want in a photo session - so I try really hard to work that into my packages and the experience you have with me as your photographer! The name I hear the most is “mom” , “mama”, “mommy”. I’m a proud mom of 2 little ones & married to my best friend. My background is education and childcare and I took photography courses throughout high school and university whenever I could. Since becoming a mama I’ve been at home with my kiddos and family photography has been a fantastic way for me to work with children again! As a sentimental parent, I know the value of family photos & how close we hold them to our heart. I am so excited to plan our session together and meet you & your family!

After 4 years of running Mom in a Flash I finally thought it was time to create a studio space in my home. I am all about “lifestyle sessions” so I knew I wanted any newborn sessions in here to feel comfortable and calm. I had my good friend NK at Home come and put her magic in this room! Its been an amazing year in this space with tons of newborn and family sessions, some branding sessions and often my favourite - boudoir sessions!! I’d love to capture you and your family in my studio!

Since my earliest memories my favourite thing to do with friends was playing teacher. By the time I was in grade 5 I knew I would have a career in education and teaching young kids. In September 2023 I will begin teacher's college at the University of Ottawa for their two year program. I am so excited to finally be taking this step! Over the next years I will be navigating this business not only as a full time mom but also a full time student. Which means I may not have as much availability however I am certainly going to continue photographing families as often as I can!!
